Freeland is 15 minutes north of the Clinton ferry, 22 minutes south of the Coupeville ferry, and approximately 50 minutes from the Deception Pass Bridge. Freeland be accessed from all of these major gateways by free transit via Island Transit.

Hike, ride horses, swim, picnic, boat, fish & clam, play, or just relax and enjoy the world-class views. Dogs are welcome, on a leash. We have several off-leash areas, including a waterfront off-leash at Freeland’s Double Bluff beach! Fun children’s play area at Freeland Beach Park on Holmes Harbor. Miles of hiking and horse trails at Saratoga Woods, Putney Trails, Trustland Trails, Trillium Woods and Greenbank Farms. Trustland Trails has a gorgeous ADA trail loop! Located off SR 525 and Craw Road, this 1/2 mile loop nature trail is built for use by wheelchairs or for those who require a flat, smooth surface for walking.
